We are very sorry to announce that we have decided to cancel the 2020 festival.
The board and steering committee met recently to make this important decision. After a great deal of deliberation, we voted to cancel. There were many factors that brought us to this decision.
First and foremost we were concerned about the safety and well being of our volunteers, crafters, Living History participants, entertainers and visitors. Secondly, due to the unpredictability, we were apprehensive to continue with our planning.
This will be the first time the festival has been cancelled since World War II. (The 1918 pandemic began in October) This is history in the making.
We ask for your understanding and look forward to seeing everyone in 2021 on September 18 & 19.
